Missy1
Missy2

Missy (ARPH #12622) is a sweet wiggle-butt who is firmly attached to her foster mom. She is never more than 3 feet away and her little Aussie-nub is ALWAYS going - even when she sits, she wiggles. She was pulled from a rural shelter, stinky and sporting an enormous hernia. She was boarded for two weeks at vet clinic after the surgery and now has a clean bill of health. The vet reports that she was a gem in the kennel and all of the office workers considered adopting her. She was exposed to a cat at the clinic and was very interested, but her interest in humans always won over the interest in the cat. She gets along well with the four other dogs in the foster home, however she does not like to be dominated and will let the other dogs know if they are getting too pushy. She has shown no interest in toys - again, humans are much more interesting.

Missy is located in Lebanon; she is a 3 year old black-bi female. If you are looking for a constant companion, Missy is the girl for you! Contact Georganne at annaverv@yahoo.com with questions. (listed 06/02/11)

Chance1
Chance2

What a handsome fellow!! This sweet guy is Chance (NS #710) and he has 2 crystal clear blue eyes, a thick and silky red merle coat, and a happy Aussie tail! He weighs about 30 pounds and is just a smaller guy at about 12 months old. Chance is ready to learn. This guy is learning new things every day in his foster home. He knows sit and stay, down and no. He is learning that walking on lead isn't so bad (you get treats at the end!) and that people are so wonderful. But I think he already knew that!!

Chance has never met a stranger and everyone is his best friend! After a couple minutes of shear excitement, this young man settles nicely into a sit stay to greet new poeple. He gets along well with dogs; cats are an unknown. Take a chance on Chance! He is a wonderful guy just looking for his place in this life!!

Chance is being fostered in Maineville. If you are interested in Chance, please go to www.ns4ar.org and fill out an application. Questions can be directed to Jane at jkyoung3@cinci.rr.com. (listed 05/10/11)

Privately Referred Dogs

The following dogs are listed as a courtesy to other rescues, shelters, and private individuals looking to place a dog. Any adoption resulting from these listings is a matter solely between the lister and potential adopter.

Moses

Moses is a fun loving 4 year old black-tri male Aussie, very smart and affectionate. He loves to get attention and he also loves to give attention. Moses thinks he is a lap dog, as evidenced by his desire to lay across your lap to relax and get petted. He is very attentive when it comes to kids and loves to be outside. When outside he loves you to play chase with him, whether you are running after him or he is running after you.

Moses loves to be rewarded with treats for his goods deeds. He knows the commands "sit", "stay", "come", "paw", "kiss", "lay" and "high five". He likes to go for walks, you can just say the word "bye bye" and he gets all excited! Moses does not like storms or fireworks. Moses is a very, very good dog and to know him is to love him.

Even though he is grown, he still has a puppy look about him in the face. When you look into his beautiful brown eyes you can't help but love him. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and on heartworm preventative. Sadly, Moses needs a new home because his family is losing theirs. He is located in Cincinnati. Contact Georganne at annaverv@yahoo.com with questions. (listed 06/02/11)
